If you’re musically gifted and have professional experience, let us introduce you to DANCEworks‘ 2015 choreographer-in-residence, Adam Barruch. Adam has gotten the blessings of Stephen Sondheim to create a new theatrical experience, using the score of the Tony award winning musical, Sweeney Todd.
Adam will be visiting Santa Barbara on April 19 to audition musicians and vocalists at the Lobero Theatre for his upcoming September 2015 residency. Adam currently works as a choreographer, actor and dancer in New York City.
He’s looking specifically for a musical director/pianist as well as a female vocalist to join his company of dancers in this production. You do not need to be a dancer yourself!
Here’s the info: Casting Call_DW15 Director+Vocalist. Please submit information asap to Sheila Caldwell , firstname.lastname@example.org, as noted in the Casting Call.
Rehearsals will take place during Adam’s residency in September. There will be two performances of the work created here on September 27 and 28 at the Lobero Theatre.
